The second day in Sieradz
On Tuesday we started the day by making Easter decorations. There was an old lady from Sieradz who taught us traditional Polish decorations. We got to dye eggs and decorate some willow twigs. We also taught the other partners how we decorate our willow twigs in Finland. After these arts and crafts we made an exhibition of our work.
After the lunch we visited the town council where we were welcomed by the town head Mariusz Badzior. He told us about Sieradz in general and introduced us the town hall. He also gave each of us a little present from the town of Sieradz.
In the afternoon two Polish girls gave a presentation about Poland, its’ biggest cities, the most famous writers/composers/politicians/sportsmen of Poland, the Polish cuisine etc.
In the evening we got an introduction lesson on nordic walking and we made a little hike in the nearby park.
