Triathlon challenge

Thursday’s sportive challenge was triathlon Can Mercader and the students really gave their best running, cycling and swimming in teams. 

But before triathlon we visited Museu De Les matematiques (the museum of mathematics). There we got to solve numerous different puzzles and mathematical problems. That was good brainwork before the physical challenge.

So, after stressing our brain, it was time to stress our bodies. The students started the challenge by running a relay 5x1000m.

After the relay the students had to ride a spinning bike for 2 kilometers each, so that the total distance of each team was 10 km. The teams were really supportive, the music was loud and everyone was laughing and having fun and exercising at the same time.

The triathlon finished with the hardest challenge, swimming! Each student had to swim 2x50m and belive me, it was hard!

Since it was the last evening all together in Cornella, we had the farewell party at school. The hostfamilies had arranged a picnic in the school gym and all the students, teachers and hostfamilies took part in eating, dancing and singing together.
