The first day on Reunion

The 20th of February

After the eleven hours night flight we arrived on Reunion Island at noon. Our hosts were at the airport welcoming us to their magical island. We drove a bus to a nice place by the shore and we had a picnic there. 

After eating the lunch, we drove along the shore towards to our destination Saint Loius. On the way the bus dropped us ”somewhere” to have a discovery walk on a seaside path. Students were divided in mixed groups and they were given an assignment where they had to find out answers to diffrent questions and solve dilemmas as groups.

We got to know each other while working together and after passing the ”riddle-path” we continued our way to Lycee Jean Joly where the hostfamilies were waiting for their ”new familymembers” .

And so started the unforgettable week on Reunion Island:)
