The final day on Reunion

The 25th of February

The week went (too) fast and it was already the final day of our stay on Reunion. Fortunately we still got to experience many beautiful adventures during the last day.

 

We visited the Volcano museum, where we saw a 4D movie where we took an imaginary ride inside a volcano. Then we continued by bus up the mountains where we walked and had a picnic on a real lava field.

We drove down the mountain to the east coast of the island and we stopped to have a refreshing swim in Sainte Anne by the river ”Bassin Bleu”. There were lots of local people swimming too, because it was Sunday. 

After the river it was time to head for the airport. The farewells were really emotional, but we are really happy that we met all these awsome people. Thank you Reunion Island and all those people who made this trip to stay in our hearts forever.  ”You have to go so that you can come back again!”
