Day five on Reunion

The 24th of February

In the morning, we took a bus to the local Market. There were lots of souvenirs, fruits, fish, hens (10 euros each), handcrafts etc. From there we continued to a beautiful shore, but it was only for pictures, because it wasn’t safe to swim there. The day was unbeliveably hot and therefore it was a perfect timing for a cold swim in the Langevin river in Saint Joseph. There we could slide along the river over the rocks on the bottom. The ride was a bit bumpy, but it was really fun.

In the evening we had a party on the beach with all the hostfamilies. It was a bring-dish party where all the hostfamilies brought delicious food and desserts. The night was dark, but the atmosphere was very warm and kind.
